How are you doing with the holidays?

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

I loved this graphic! I felt like saying, “Who is tired? Raise your oven mitts.”

So how are you doing in the final crunch period?

I’ve got the following done:

  • Big food shop
  • Big produce shop
  • Produce washed
  • Dip made
  • Presents wrapped
  • Menu and back-out times done
  • Turkey thawing
  • I just finished the Christmas cards to past clients, so those are going in the mail tomorrow. I should be OK, and, if not, what the hell. :-)

Let me tell you, we’re all pooped, but I still love this time of year. So how are you doing?

Food shopping, mostly done. With 4 boys home for the holidays, I need another Costco trip today and a quick trip to the local store for additional produce.
Presents are nearly all wrapped (did yesterday’s 2 soon after I got home).
      Menu is simple and done.
As soon as I sign off, I’m pulling the ham out of the basement freezer.
      Thanks for the reminders! :)

Aghhh! I still have to pull some pics for our annual Christmas Letter. It would do well to look at my list, huh?

Yesterday I had a book review to write (the book is awesome - the one where the corn chowder recipe came from) and then tackle the laundry.

We wrestled for a few hours but in the end, I won. Though, the dryer just informed me that it is time for round two!

      Happy Almost Christmas Eve!
